This Indiana Fever player spoke on being teammates with Caitlin Clark
The Indiana Fever are still finding their way this season, currently 1-6 on the year. First overall pick Caitlin Clark currently leads the team in points per game (15.4) and assists per game (6.3), but has yet to find her shot on a consistent basis.
Converting on just 37.1% of her field goals and 31.6% of her attempts from beyond the arc, Clark has struggled a bit from the floor, but will almost certainly find her shot as she gets going in the WNBA.
What Clark has done very well is connect with her new teammates, which is something Fever forward Temi Fagbenle spoke about during a recent media availability session.
“We just figured it out,” Fagbenle said of playing with Clark. “She’s a smart player, I’m a smart player… I’m always sprinting the floor and she’s a great passer. So she’s always gonna pass it if I’m open. I know that. It’s really amazing, because we haven’t had many practices together. The connection is just there. I’m getting a better sense of what she’s about and what she’s going to do, and so I just try to get into the right positions.”
Temi Fagbenle talks about the on-court connection she has developed with Caitlin Clark:

This was a very detailed response from Fagbenle, as she revealed what it is like out there on the court with her new star teammate. While Indiana is still looking for more wins, this group is growing together daily.
