‘OMG KYRIE!’ – Fans all saying the same thing as LeBron James goes crazy watching Kyrie Irving break out old-school moves in Mavericks’ blowout of Clippers | HO

Kyrie Irving is still one of the best basketball players on the planet.

And when Irving is at his best, no one can stay between the super crafty veteran guard and the basket.

Known for having some of the best handles in the game, Irving immediately went viral on Thursday after he shredded the Los Angeles Clippers with brilliant handles in the open court.

As Luka Doncic, Irving and the Dallas Mavericks won 123-93 in a road blowout and took a 3-2 lead in a Western Conference first round series, one of Irving’s old teammates became just another fan.

Irving stole the ball from a stumbling James Harden, worked his way across the court, went behind the back and converted a falling layup with his left hand.

“He dives! He scores!” an announcer said.

“Did you see that?” Reggie Miller chimed in.

“OMG KYRIE!!!!!!!! That’s was INSANE,” LeBron James tweeted.

Fans instantly made the connection.

James could leave the Los Angeles Lakers this offseason after another disappointing finish.

“I’ve seen, heard a lot of reports about my future,” James tweeted. “I said it last night and I’ll say it again. I do not know yet as I’m only thinking about spending time with my family & friends! When I know after speaking with the fam … then you guys will know.”

Irving and James were a superpower duo when they overcame a 3-1 deficit to beat the Golden State Warriors in the 2016 NBA Finals.

There were also hints this season that James wanted to find a way to bring Irving to Los Angeles.

With the Mavs one win away from erasing the Clippers and moving on to the second round, Dallas fans are already dreaming off adding The King to a Doncic-Irving backcourt.

“Maybe you should join him,” one fan tweeted at James.

“Come to the big D,” a second fan posted.

“LeBron trying to join the squad,” a third fan wrote.

Irving finished with just 14 points on 6-of-14 shooting.

But the crafty guard added six assists, four rebounds and two steals, and Dallas was plus-35 with Irving on the hardwood.

Doncic was superb, sinking 14-of-26 shots for 35 points, while dishing out 10 assists and grabbing seven rebounds.

The Mavs can close out the Clippers on Saturday at home.

Irving proved in Game 5 that he’s still one of the most dangerous basketball players on the planet.

James is clearly watching his former teammate after a tough Lakers season.
