Travis Kelce knows how to get on a Swiftie’s good side. The 34-year-old has done it again on the recent podcast episode of New Heights which aired yesterday. Sitting down with his brother, Jason Kelce, the pair were discussing lab-made diamonds and humans – before the tight end declared he’s counting the days until he can have a child. Taylor Swift fans, understandably, went into a small meltdown on social media over his comment. We can see why.

Well Taylor, looks like you may need to sit down with Trav at the end of your Eras Tour to have a ‘talk’.

The celebrity couple have been dating since September but for the tight end, he’s thinking years ahead, apparently.

The Kansas City Chiefs player is itching to start a family, but we’re not sure if their schedules are going to pair up, considering how busy the music star is most years. When she’s not on tour – or even when she is – she’s releasing a new album or re-recording her back catalog. It’s like the celebrity doesn’t know what taking a break is!

Yesterday, March 20, Travis and his brother Jason were discussing 7-foot-4 San Antonio Spurs star, Victor Wembanyama. It was during the segment, No Dumb Questions, when a fan asked what animal legs they would swap out for their own if they could.

The conversation somehow transitioned into giraffe legs and how tall Victor is, pushing them to talk about how incredible he is.

Trav says: “You can’t tell me that due wasn’t made in a f***ing lab over there in France.”

He then adds: “Lab-grown diamonds, that’s a lab-grown f***ing NBA player”.

The 36-year-old Kelce brother chimes in with “lab-grown humans” not being far off, and Travis says, “Can’t wait ’til I f***ing make one,” over the idea of having a baby.

But the former Philadelphia Eagles center stopped him in his tracks. Knowing how one comment can fuel headlines around the world, he asked him to calm down.

Jason pleaded: “Don’t do this. Do not give any of these other conspiracy theorists anything else to latch onto, please”.

‘Travis sent me into orbit’

Of course Swifties couldn’t hide their excitement on social media.

One Twitter user joked: “Travis [Kelce] saying this about making a baby just sent me into orbit… like SIR”.

Another said: “Travis got a smile and blushed and said ‘I can’t wait to f***ing make one’ in his day dreaming voice… I say, make those beautiful babies!”

A third penned: “I’m so excited about this. So happy they have each other and clearly want the same things! Over the moon”.

While someone else echoed: “I love it because it shows that his mind is in the right place thinking about the future, rather than his critics thinking he only cares about partying”.

Another Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift fan confessed: “That’s why we have let them have privacy … so they can go make super tall babies. I’m teasing of course. Let her finish the tour first. This will be better than the royal baby watch.”
