Chennedy Carter is getting lit up after making comments about not regretting hammering Caitlin Clark.
Carter spoke to the media Monday and made it clear she has “no regrets” about dropping Clark from behind after appearing to call her a slur.
The Chicago Sky guard didn’t even have the guts to square up face-to-face with the Indiana Fever rookie. Instead, she hit her from behind when Clark couldn’t defend herself.
It was a disgusting and ugly moment for the WNBA, and Carter proudly claiming she has “no regrets” was certainly something to behold. Apparently, it was just her competitive spirit, and not a wildly dirty moment.

“It’s basketball it’s all hoops” is the part that’s not true. I’m not a CC fan [cyclone] but this team has some hate for CC.

“Compete”😂😂😂

Her WNBA resume pretty much speaks for itself. She's basically in hockey terms, a 'hired goon'. She's a professional in being suspended for fighting way more than she is for playing basketball.

Nobody is saying you shouldn’t play hard and be competitive but I fail to understand how a blindside shove during a dead ball is considered “competing.” She obviously shows no remorse.

Hard fouls and intense plays happen in sports. I’ve said it many times since what the country watched unfold Saturday. Basketball can be a very physical sport at times. People bang it out down low, and perimeter defense can even be incredibly stiff at times.
Sometimes, emotions hit a breaking point and people lash out. However, that’s not what happened Saturday, and we all know it.
Carter dropped Clark when the Fever guard was defenseless, and we don’t really have to speculate about her motives. You can read her lips, and then watch her teammates celebrate the cheap shot.

Carter is failing if she thinks she was fooling people with her shtick about being competitive and having no regrets instead of admitting it was dirty.
The hilarious part is that if Chennedy had just apologized after the game, then this would already be over. Instead, she’s basking in her newfound fame. Remember, the reason why the WNBA has so much new attention is because of Caitlin Clark – not Chennedy Carter or any other player you can name.
The hatred and racism towards Caitlin Clark is disgusting, and she’s going to get seriously hurt if the cheap shots don’t stop.
The WNBA should be embarrassed.
None of this is acceptable. It must end. pic.twitter.com/gfCT6p5QZm
