Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever are back at home Monday night, still looking for their first win of the 2024 WNBA season.
The Fever, and Clark in particular, played better in their last game, Saturday’s 91-80 loss to the New York Liberty. Still, it wasn’t enough, as last year’s league runners-up were too much for Indiana.
Clark scored 22 points and dished out eight assists against the Liberty, looking the most comfortable she’s been so far at the professional level.
Speaking of comfort, the No. 1 overall pick mixed some of it with style for her arrival at Gainbridge Fieldhouse Monday.
Clark’s pregame outfit, which included a white vest with no sleeves underneath and loose-fitting bell-bottom type jeans, is going viral on social media.

It has been a bumpy ride at times for Clark through her first three games in the W, but the Iowa star appears to be settling in despite the immense expectations.
“Let’s not forget that she probably has arguably the most pressure that any women’s basketball player has ever had coming into the WNBA. Sometimes it feels like the weight of the WNBA is on her shoulders,” women’s basketball legend Sue Bird told Rich Eisen last week. “That is both a compliment and warranted in a lot of ways but also may be a little bit unfair to put so much on her.”
Clark and the Fever are facing the Connecticut Sun tonight at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN. Connecticut beat Indiana in the season opener last Tuesday.
