Angel Reese has been at the center of the Chicago Sky and Indiana Fever debacle for the past few days, despite not being physically involved in the controversial play.
Caitlin Clark and the Fever have been drawn out as heroes, while Reese believes Chicago has been treated like the villains of the story.
The incident between both teams occurred in the fourth quarter on Saturday when Carter nudged Clark from the back and taunted her while the rookie was on the floor.
Reese recently spoke on the play, revealing another incident during the game where the Sky rookie was hit in a similar manner. It’s clear that she believes there’s unfair treatment between both parties.
“Did you see when J.J. knocked me down? Go check the film, J.J. knocked me down. She didn’t get a flagrant one thought, she got a regular foul, but it was the same thing. You can’t pick and choose which players get flagrant fouls and flagrant ones and twos. Go check the clip, it’s the same,” said Reese, via Women’s Hoops Network.

Reese and the Sky left Indiana with a 71-70 loss and an earful of boos from fans. The rookie out of LSU posted eight points and 13 rebounds in the match, while Clark tallied 11 points and eight rebounds.
Chicago has built a closely bonded squad during their 3-4 season with first-year head coach Terea Weatherspoon. This incident has only helped the team come closer together, especially with viral footage of Reese backing up Carter.
