The drama between Controversy King, Antonio Brown, and WNBA women’s basketball player, Caitlin Clark seems to be far from getting over. Once, the fans anticipate that the feud is about to conclude, either of the two adds a twist that gives rise to another chapter. Even though, earlier it was Brown who criticized Clark on multiple occasions, lately Brown flipped his attitude towards Clark and it seemed to have taken a 360-degree turn.

On John Whitlock’s YouTube podcast, the NFL legend has come up with his latest presumption about Clark, “she might like me”. Besides, he further reveals the one big reason behind his attacks on the WNBA star.

On Jason Whitlock’s YouTube podcast, the host informed Brown on how the NFL legend’s stance on Clark gave rise to a misconception that he trolled and criticized the basketball phenom. To revert to the charge, Brown immediately questioned, “I trolled her, or I brought attention to her?” He further continued to shower praise on Clark calling her to be the “best” women athlete. This was not enough to convince Whitlock who further looked to find the reason behind Clark blocking Brown.

To this, Brown applied his weapon to add a twist to the Clark-Brown trajectory, “I don’t know why she blocked me. She might like me and felt emotional like she can’t stand me like was maybe I hit a nerve in her. But it’s Twitter you know know what I’m saying it’s excitement it’s entertainment”. According to Brown his only motive has been to “bring the positive constructive criticism from my news station to Caitlyn Clark”. Other than this, recently there have been multiple occasions that propelled him to bring out his positivity towards Clark.

Brown making serious efforts to patch up with Clark

Brown has evolved to be one of the biggest fans that Clark could ever have. As Clark got mobbed by fans right after putting the court on fire playing for Indiana Fever, the former Buccaneer patiently waited in the stands and shared a video of her with the caption, Respect @CaitlinClark22 Got a @IndianaFever fan here #CTESPN.”

It was the same Brown that passed a derogatory “hairy” remark for the WNBA’s first overall pick and even called her a “b*tch”. Clark got so exasperated with his actions that he limited Brown’s access to her social media. But as per the recent developments, Brown is all geared up to change the narrative and make up for his past mistakes.

He does not let go of a single chance to glorify the WNBA rookie. To prove his likeness towards Clark, Brown went the extra mile to book himself a ticket to witness her in action on May 3 during the Indiana Fever versus Dallas Wings match. Of course, it did leave a hole in Brown’s pocket as it cost him $791.

Fans who closely follow Brown might remember the ex-Buccaneer posing with a brand-new Lamborghini. Till this point it was okay, but what instantly caught their attention was his caption that hinted at Brown’s attempt to compare Clark with something as precious as the luxury car. It is now time for the WNBA rookie to substantiate her side of the truth.
