It’s been a tough start to the 2024 WNBA season for the Indiana Fever.

They’ve lost their first five games even though they’ve come very close to winning a couple of them. The slow start has led Fever star Aliyah Boston to delete Twitter/X from her phone because of all the negativity.

“I spoke with Aliyah Boston and she said, ‘I had to delete Twitter from my phone,'” ESPN’s Holly Rowe reported on Monday, (first transcribed by Sports Illustrated). “She said the only safe app right now is TikTok, where it’s friendly and she can scroll past if there’s anything negative.”

Boston is tired of the negativity from some fans and wants to have positivity around her.

Even though the Fever have lost their first five games, she (along with Caitlin Clark) hasn’t been close to the problem. Boston is averaging 8.4 points and 6.2 rebounds per game after finishing last season averaging 14.5 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game.

She’ll try and help the Fever notch their first win when they take on the Los Angeles Sparks on Friday at 10 p.m. ET. A win would get the Fever to 1-5 overall.
