Caitlin Clark is in a position that many people have never been in, but one of the few players to go through what she’s currently experiencing happens to be her teammate.

Like Clark, Boston was the No. 1 pick in the WNBA Draft after an excellent college career. She was able to adjust to the professional game and earn the Rookie of the Year award last season, and she has faith in Clark to do the same in 2024.

Much has been made of Clark’s impact on the attention the Fever have received this season, but Boston says it’s nothing new for her or her teammates.

“Everyone in this practice facility right now is used to playing in arenas that were sold out, that were packed,” she said. “We’re continuing to enjoy the energy, use it to our advantage and just play.”

The Fever have struggled out of the gate this season, losing their first five games. They have a chance to get their first win of the 2024 season against the No. 2 overall pick Cameron Brink and the Los Angeles Sparks.

The Fever are currently in the midst of a west coast road trip that will see them face the two-time defending champion Las Vegas Aces on Saturday, the second game of a very strenuous back-to-back.

Clark has been successful individually, leading all rookies with over 17 points per game to begin the season.

Unfortunately, she is also leading the league in turnovers, something she’ll need to work on while attempting to make up ground in the league standings.
