Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever are taking on the Los Angeles Sparks on Tuesday evening.
Early in the second quarter, Clark pushed the ball in transition and pulled up for one of her patented logo three-point shots.
Officials called a common shooting foul on the floor, but upgraded the call to a Flagrant 1 upon additional review.

While there was nothing obviously malicious with this foul, reckless closeout fouls can be some of the most dangerous in the sport. The rule came into effect following the 2017 NBA Western Conference Finals when Golden State Warriors center Zaza Pachulia injured San Antonio Spurs star Kawhi Leonard on a similar play.
Clark knocked down two out of three free throws after the foul. On the next possession, she hit a three pointer to go on a personal 5-0 run.
Clark has a game-high 12 points with just under six minutes remaining in the first half.
