Angel Reese has already proven that her dominant college game has translated to the WNBA.

Prior to Tuesday’s game against the Seattle Storm, the “Chi Barbie” is averaging 12.3 points and 7.8 rebounds per game.

Although what’s most impressive about Reese’s 2024 WNBA season with the Chicago Sky is that she’s leading the entire league in offensive rebounds per game, with 4.5.

Despite her success, fans are shocked that Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark is outperforming Reese in one WNBA stat so far.

Reese has not recorded a single block in the WNBA yet.

Caitlin Clark, in contrast, is averaging 0.9 blocks per game for the Fever.

And fans are stunned that Clark is beating Reese in a stat that should favor a forward like Reese.

X users are noting of this when comparing the two iconic rookies.

“Reese is taller and averaging 0 blocks and CC is avenging 1 lol don’t speak on defense bro Angel has a better team obviously CC is playing better,” one X user wrote.

“what a weird world where angel reese has no blocks and clark has atleast 1 she’s hooping,” wrote another.

Comparisons aside, it’s only a matter of time before Reese’s block party begins.
