Henry Cavill has revealed he is expecting his first child with girlfriend Natalie Viscuso.

The star, 40, confirmed the joyous news with Access Hollywood at the premiere of The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare on Monday.

‘I’m very excited about it. Natalie and I are very, very excited,’ he told the outlet

Cavill and his girlfriend, 34, have been going strong for nearly three years now, with the Justice League star making their relationship Instagram official in 2021 with a snap of them playing chess.

The couple made their red carpet debut at the premiere of Enola Holmes 2 in 2022.

In 2017, the actor expressed his aspirations for fatherhood, saying to Men’s Health U.K., “If I ever have kids, I want to be the dad who’s actively involved with them.” He added, “Even now, it feels quite late, but I aim to be a fit and healthy father, not one who’s constantly out of breath.”

Natalie, a Hollywood executive with a background in television, once experienced life in front of the camera as a teenager on MTV’s “My Super Sweet 16.” It’s understood from MailOnline that her father Michael, a former nightclub owner, influenced her appearance on the show, which gained international popularity.

Currently, Natalie enjoys the natural beauty of her new home in California with her boyfriend Henry and their two dogs. She previously held the position of Vice President of TV at Vertigo Entertainment and appeared on “My Super Sweet 16.”

The episode’s description highlighted Natalie’s lavish lifestyle at 15, living in a $5 million house and traveling in her father’s luxury cars. It posed the question, “What more could she want?” suggesting her desire to be the most popular girl at school.

Natalie, originally from the quiet town of Roswell, New Mexico, relocated to La Jolla, California, with her father and his then-fiancée.

Natalie’s father Michael is a former nightclub mogul, which led to her appearance on the TV series that later became a global hit.

Previously, she was the vice president of television and digital studios at Legendary Entertainment.

It’s one of the production companies behind Cavill’s movies Man of Steel (2013) and Enola Holmes (2020).

Natalie attended the University of Southern California which she graduated from in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in Cinematic Arts.

A source close to the couple previously told MailOnline Henry and Natalie met years ago after ‘crossing paths’ while working in the same industry but romance finally blossomed during lockdown.

‘Henry first connected with Natalie years ago, and while a romantic spark wasn’t instant between them, they always kept in touch’ an insider explained.

‘Despite strict travel restrictions in place, Natalie flew from the States to the UK so she could be with Henry, and they were able to go unnoticed from prying eyes in Berkshire as they visited local markets together.

‘As a hugely famous actor, Henry is usually very discreet about his personal life and relationships but he’s smitten with Natalie, who’s been a party girl and aspiring model from a young age, even starring in MTV hit My Super Sweet 16.’
